As part of routine maintenance and to sustain reliable service, the Town of Antigonish Electric Utility is conducting tree trimming work along various sections of overhead powerlines. This work will continue on an as-needed basis. 

The Town focuses the tree trimming work to remove branches that are near or touching power lines to provide residents and businesses with the best service possible. Keeping branches vegetation away from power lines and removing dangerous tree prevents unnecessary power outages and removes potential safety hazards for the public.
