Please be advised that beginning on Monday, January 11, 2021 the Town of Antigonish will be conducting water line replacement work on Founders Walk (i.e. the walking path from StFX to Church Street).

The first phase of the work will result in a temporary reduction of water pressure for customers in the immediate area. The work is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m. and water customers on lower Church Street and Hillcrest Street, as well as businesses in the area, will experience low water pressure from approximately 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The water will remain on; however, the pressure will be reduced.

The Founders Walk path will remain open for pedestrians. Pedestrians are advised to travel with caution with entering the work area and be mindful of vehicles and equipment moving through the area.
