Under the current COVID-19 restrictions, the Town would like to remind residents of the following rules that are in place for the use of the Antigonish Community Skatepark:

• Everyone must follow social distancing and keep 6 feet/2-meter distance from others while using the facility.
• Users and spectators who are not part of the same household cannot gather on or around any area of the Skatepark.
• Users of the Skatepark must wear a mask if social distancing cannot be maintained.
• Please exercise sound judgement and if the Skatepark appears to be busy, please return home and try again at a later time.

These rules will remain in place until further notice. The RCMP still can issue fines to anyone not following social distancing rules. If users cannot follow the rules listed above, the Skatepark will be closed.

Residents who have questions or concerns about social distancing and use of the Skatepark can contact the Town of Antigonish By-Law Office during regular business hours at 902-863-2351 or RCMP on evenings and weekends at 902-863-6500.

The Town urges residents to please follow the rules so that everyone can continue to enjoy the use of the Skatepark.
