All submissions will be reviewed by the Community Development Department and shared with the relevant departments for further action and/or follow up. The Town's Accessibility Committee will also receive summaries of complaints as part of their regular committee meetings.
Please allow five (5) to seven (7) business days for staff to review the concern before following up further on the issue. If your concern is urgent, please phone Town Hall directly at 902-863-2351 and press 0 to speak with a staff person during regular business hours.
Anyone can ask to be heard at an Accessibility Committee if they are not satisfied with the response recieved by Town staff. The Community Development Department will keep a record of all submissions and communications and share summary updates on any complaints recieved at upcoming Accessibility Committee meetings. These submissions will contribute to the Committee's regular reviews of the Town's Accessibility Plan and may inform future changes to the Plan.
