An Update on the Town of Antigonish’s Sewage Treatment Plant

In response to growing concerns being raised by our residents regarding the odour coming from the Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), we would like to provide an update on its operations and answer some of your questions regarding the plant’s capacity, why there is a smell, what is being done to address the smell, etc.  

New Fitness Program Launched for Older Adults: Moving & Mingling

The Town of Antigonish is excited to announce the launch of a new fitness program for older adults. Moving and Mingling is a free fitness initiative specifically designed to benefit those 55 years of age or older in the community. This program will connect a certified fitness leader with seniors across various rural settings, encouraging a more active, healthy lifestyle while reducing social isolation.
