On Wednesday, June 7th, there will be a forum open to the entire community (businesses, community groups and interested parties) to discuss a way forward in promoting the Antigonish area to a broader audience. Who are the institutional players in the area and what are the services they can offer? What are the challenges we face and the opportunities we can harness, from a business perspective? What can we do to encourage business development and more effectively promote our area? These questions will serve as jumping off points to a larger discussion about economic development in Antigonish! The event will bring together prominent members of our business community and community-level economic development experts from across the province to facilitate this discussion.
The event will take place from 8:30am - 12:10pm at the Keating Millenium Centre, on St. Francis Xavier University campus.
There is no cost to the event.
The event is being organized by both municipalities, Eastern Strait Region Enterprise Network, Antigonish Downtown Business Association and the Antigonish Chamber of Commerce.
