The Town of Antigonish hereby gives formal notice that on January 19, 2026, the Council for the Town of Antigonish gave second reading and final approval to adapt a Parking By-Law.

The purpose of this Parking By-law is to regulate the use of public streets, highways, and Town-owned or operated parking facilities within the Town of Antigonish. It establishes rules for metered parking, payment methods, time limits, electric vehicle charging spaces, seasonal and winter parking restrictions, and enforcement measures to ensure safe, efficient, and fair use of parking resources while supporting traffic flow and public safety.
