The Town of Antigonish is pleased to announce that nominations are open for the annual Dr. JJ Carroll Awards.

The will of the late Dr. JJ Carroll included a bequest to provide funds for the following: “…for the purpose of providing activities for juniors (young people) in the Town of Antigonish, Nova Scotia, in the areas of Minor Hockey Instruction, Swimming Instruction, and Track and Field Instruction.” 

The awards will be determined by the Antigonish Town Council.

Applications by groups who qualify under the terms of the Last Will and Testament and under the eligibility rules established by the Town, may be filed at the office of Kate Gorman, Director of Community Development. The closing date for the awards will be 12pm Friday, September 30th, 2022.
