By developing a Heritage Preservation and Promotion Strategy for the Town of Antigonish, the goal is to continue to promote the retention and enhancement of heritage buildings in order to preserve the town’s unique culture and heritage. The three main objectives of this plan are to: promote awareness of built heritage, re-initiate the town’s registry of heritage properties, and devise a long-term strategy to continue heritage awareness and promotion.
