The Department of Corporate Services is responsible for overall financial and human resource management for the Town of Antigonish. Additionally, the Town is current Treasurer for the Alternative Resource Energy Authority (AREA), an intra-municipal partnership between the Town of Antigonish, Town of Berwick, and the Town of Mahone Bay which oversees the operation of a wind farm in Ellershouse, Nova Scotia. The Department of Corporate Services manages the finances of the AREA partnership.
