Please be advised that beginning Monday, October 27, Dexter Construction will begin work on Bay Street (Phase 1) as part of the Town of Antigonish’s ongoing infrastructure renewal program. Work is expected to continue through December 31.

This project will include the replacement of sewer and water mains, installation of new pipe under the railway tracks, and a full street rebuild, including the addition of an Active Transportation Trail.

The pipe installation will require excavation of the street and surrounding areas, and a jack-and-bore operation will be conducted under the railway. This process will cause extended disturbance and noise, and some night work will be required to meet the completion schedule.

Traffic control measures will be in place. Please allow additional time to reach your destination.
