The Town has been made aware of several incidents where bottle caps with dry wall screws are being placed under parked vehicles in and around the downtown area. When the driver pulls away the screws puncture the tire causing significant damage as well as safety concerns.

RCMP are aware of these incidents. Drivers may want to consider walking around their vehicle to check under their tire for these hazards.
