Please be advised the Town of Antigonish will be conducting sewer cleaning from December 11 to December 20 in various locations around the Town.

Temporary traffic measures will be in place.  

While the risk of backflow into homes is very low, residents are advised to keep toilet seat covers down whenever possible during this work period as a precaution. If residents experience an unpleasant odor, run water into each drain to refill the plumbing traps.  

The Town thanks residents for their patience and understanding as this work is conducted.

Please be advised the Town of Antigonish will be doing sewer cleaning on James Street and West Street on Thursday, December 12.  Temporary traffic measures will be in place. Where delays can be expected, motorists should allow additional time to reach their destination or consider an alternative route.  The Town thanks residents for their patience and understanding as this work is done.
