Public Notice: Public Washrooms at Columbus Field

The washrooms at Columbus Field will be closed for the foreseeable future as a result of individuals who broke into the building after hours and caused significant damage to the sinks and plumbing. Repairs are currently underway, however, they will take time to complete. Portable washrooms have been brought in for the public to use in the meantime.
Repairs were also recently done on some of the playground equipment after acts of vandalism. These are extremely disappointing instances, and we ask the public to please report any suspicious or unlawful activity to the Town or RCMP.
The Town would like to thank residents in advance for their cooperation and support.
Town Notice: Town Hall Closed April 7 & 10

Town Hall will be closed on Friday, April 7 and Monday, April 10 in observance of Good Friday and Easter Monday.
Town Hall will re-open on Tuesday, April 11, at 8:30 a.m.
Public Notice - Water Break Brierly Brook

The Town of Antigonish is advising residents of a water break in Brierly Brook.
Users on the west side of Town (upper end of Hawthorne Street), including the neighboring Fringe area, may experience low to water pressure and discoloration until the repair is completed.
The Town of Antigonish apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
Public Notice: Highland & West Street Lights

Please be advised the street lights at the intersection of Highland Drive and West Street are flashing red. As a result, motorists should treat this intersection as an all way stop until the lights are back in operation.
