Under the new provincial COVID-19 restrictions, residents still have access to Town-owned recreational facilities. The following spaces remain open for use:

  • Columbus Field
  • Chisholm Park
  • Racquet Courts
  • Skatepark
  • Dog Park
  • Arbor Drive
  • Playground
  • Challenger
  • Baseball Field
  • Baseball Fields 2 & 3
  • The Landing
  • Whidden Park
  • Greening Drive Park

The Regional Field/Central Sport Field remains closed for issues related to public safety. In addition, many of the fields that are open are fairly saturated this time of year, residents are advised to please be mindful and play safely.

Masks are mandatory outdoors where physical distancing of 6 feet cannot be maintained. This would apply to outdoor spaces such as the Skatepark, Racquet Courts and Playgrounds. Masks are mandatory for children over two years of age.

Residents are only allowed to gather indoors or outdoors with members of your household group. Please allow for 6 feet of distance between you and other groups of people. Do not share equipment, greet one another by shaking hands, hugging, high-fives, etc.

If a space appears to be crowded use your best judgement and come back at another time.

Outdoor recreation activities, including individual sports are allowed and encouraged. Outdoor fitness, recreation business and organized clubs can operate with a maximum of 5 people who must be socially distanced.

All bookings for facilities are currently suspended. Residents may use the facilities on a first come first serve basis. The schedule in place for Tennis and Pickleball remains in effect while these restrictions are in place.

The Town thanks everyone for their cooperation.
