The Town of Antigonish has been selected as one of eight finalists in the SiriusXM Canada Music Town program, making it the only community in Nova Scotia to be recognized.

Out of more than 450 towns nominated across Canada, Antigonish stood out for the passion, community spirit, and love of music showcased by its residents.

The SiriusXM Music Town program celebrates communities that embody the spirit of live music, offering one lucky town the chance to host an exclusive concert by award-winning Canadian band The Beaches.

Residents and supporters across Nova Scotia are encouraged to cast their votes to help Antigonish win this once-in-a-lifetime concert experience. Voting is open now, and residents can vote once per day until the end of the day on Friday, October 24.
