The Bulky Waste collection is an opportunity for residents of the Town to dispose of unwanted items that do not fit in a regular garbage bag.
Collection will only happen once in your neighbourhood and is based on your regular garbage pickup schedule.
Pick-Up Days
- Monday, May 4
- Tuesday, May 5
- Wednesday, May 6
Acceptable Bulky Waste Items:
- Appliances: fridge, freezer, washer, dryer, dishwasher, microwave, air conditioning units, dehumidifiers, etc (for fridges and freezers: doors, lids, and refrigerant gases must be removed).
- Furniture: couch/sofa, chair, table, desk, dresser, mattresses, box spring, etc.
- Household Items: bikes, strollers, lawn furniture, large toys
- BBQ (propane tank must be removed)
Unacceptable Bulky Waste Items:
- Tires/Automotive parts
- Batteries
- Electronics (phones, televisions, etc)
- Demolition building material
- Exterior/Interior building materials
- Concrete and brick
- Roofing materials (i.e. shingles, rain gutters)
- Counter tops
- Railways ties
- Fencing
- Deck/doorstep
