Town Notice re: Sewage Treatment Plant - May 31, 2024

We are aware of the odor coming from the Town’s Sewage Treatment Plant and want to assure you that we are closely monitoring the situation. Our team is conducting regular site visits to ensure all aspects of the plant are operating as they should. All aeration equipment is running at maximum capacity, and we have not experienced any shutdowns or equipment failures.

Please be advised that the Town will doing a shutdown test of the Bethany Water Storage Tank starting at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22 to 4 p.m. on Thursday, May 23.
