Please be advised of upcoming crosswalk changes on Main Street beginning September 8, 2025. 

This project is part of our ongoing efforts to improve pedestrian safety in the community. 

A new crosswalk with a concrete bump-out will be installed at the Shoppers Drug Mart driveway on Main Street. The existing crosswalks at Acadia Street and by the library will be removed. 

We recognize that construction may cause temporary disruptions, including noise and changes to traffic and pedestrian flow. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Traffic control measures will be in place to help reduce impacts, and every effort will be made to maintain safe access to businesses throughout the work. Preparation work will begin on September 8, with completion expected by the end of September. Please note that weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances may result in minor delays.
