By-Law Enforcement Officer (Special Constable)

The Town of Antigonish is now accepting applications for the By-Law Enforcement Officer (Special Constable). This is a full-time, permanent position.

Under the direction of the Director of Community Development, the By-Law Enforcement Officer will be responsible for enforcing select municipal by-laws and the parking provisions of the Motor Vehicle Act within the Town of Antigonish. Duties include foot patrols, responding to complaints, issuing violations, and supporting public safety at community events. There may also be opportunity for this individual to support Town-hosted programming and special events.
