Public Notice - Remembrance Day Traffic Advisory

Please be advised that motorists should expect brief traffic delays on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, to accommodate the Remembrance Day Parade.  

Public Notice - Highland Dr. Construction

Please be advised that, beginning at 6:00 a.m. on Monday, November 3, Highland Drive, between Fairview Street and Fatima Street, will be closed for construction. Work will continue throughout the day until complete. 

Traffic measures will be in place, and vehicles will be redirected via MacDonald Street.  

The Town of Antigonish thanks all residents for their cooperation and understanding.

Public Notice - Early Waste Collection

Please be advised that due to ongoing construction, curbside waste collection from Bay Street, Mount Cameron Circle, and East Main Street take place earlier than usual over the next few months. 

Public Notice - Voluntary Water Conservation Measures Lifted

Please be advised that, following recent rainfall, the James River Dam reservoir has now fully recharged and is spilling.
