By developing a Heritage Preservation and Promotion Strategy for the Town of Antigonish, the goal is to continue to promote the retention and enhancement of heritage buildings in order to preserve the town’s unique culture and heritage. The three main objectives of this plan are to: promote awareness of built heritage, re-initiate the town’s registry of heritage properties, and devise a long-term strategy to continue heritage awareness and promotion. E-Billing and Preauthorized Payment Options

The Town of Antigonish is in the process of converting to a new accounting and billing system. The new system will give us the ability to send our water and electric utility invoices to your email account instead of through the regular mail. Also, depending on uptake and interest we will be implementing a pre-authorized payment option for customers to pay Town bills. Options we are considering include monthly installments and pay in full as we bill. These changes will take place over the next few months.
