Town of Antigonish Awards Salt Hauling Tender

The Town of Antigonish has awarded the annual salt hauling tender to R&D Brophy Trucking Ltd. for $17,600 + HST. The contract covers delivery of the Town’s road salt supply for the upcoming winter season.

Town Launches Fifth Annual “Delightful December”

For the fifth year, the Town of Antigonish will be taking part in “Delightful December,” an initiative that sees all revenue collected from the Town's parking meters during December donated to the Antigonish Emergency Fuel Fund and the Antigonish Community Food Bank. The Town Council decided to continue with Delightful December again this year at November’s regular council meeting.

Santa Claus Parade Registration 2025

Santa Claus Parade Update: 

Due to the weather forecast, we’ve made the decision to postpone the Santa Claus Parade. But don’t worry – Santa’s visit is just delayed, not canceled! The parade has been rescheduled for Sunday, November 23 at the same time and same route. Mark your calendars, and get ready to spread some holiday cheer! Thank you for your understanding, and we can’t wait to see you all on November 23. 

Antigonish Named Finalist in SiriusXM Music Town Competition

The Town of Antigonish has been selected as one of eight finalists in the SiriusXM Canada Music Town program, making it the only community in Nova Scotia to be recognized.
