Supporting Volunteers with PlayFinder – A Community Access Initiative by Town & County to Provide No-Cost Access to Shared Online Recreation Platform for All Local Non-Profit Organizations

The Town of Antigonish and the Municipality of the County of Antigonish are partnering to make community recreation more accessible, efficient, and connected than ever before. Together, they are providing free access to PlayFinder, a shared digital hub designed to support local non-profit recreation groups, community organizations, and facilities across the region. 

Moving & Mingling - Spring Session

Moving & Mingling is a free, 8-week fitness program for older adults with a social hour. It is offered three days a week; Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Notice of Approval: Amendments to the Town's Municipal Planning Strategy and Land Use By-Law

Please take notice that on Monday January 19th 2026 the Council of the Town of Antigonish gave second reading approval to amendments which modernize and align zoning regulations with current housing and development needs. The changes aim to increase housing options and affordability, support mixed-use development, clarify standards for accessory dwelling units, and update design and dimensional requirements to promote sustainable growth and efficient land use.
