Join us for the ride!
The Antigonish Community Transit Society is beginning a pilot project transit service that will cover the town and county of Antigonish. This service is the result of a lot of volunteer hours and community support, and we are so excited to finally be putting wheels on the road to help everyone in the town and county access services and cover distances easily, conveniently and economically. This 7 month pilot project is designed to determine the need for public transit in Antigonish by evaluating its usage. Routes serviced and vehicle capacities will be determined according to rider demand and community input!

When you dial 2-1-1, trained information and referral specialists will help you understand and find services like applicable rebates (i.e. HARP), services for seniors, home care and respite, volunteer opportunities, tax services, credit counseling, mental health/addiction services, disability services, recreational programs, tuition assistance, food banks, housing assistance, emergency shelters and much more.

The Province of Nova Scotia is partnering with the Town of Antigonish to slash red tape and make it easier to do business in the restaurant and accommodations industry.
Antigonish is one of three pilot municipalities working with Service Nova Scotia on the Restaurant and Accommodations Industry Sector Bundle (ISB) project. Under the project, government is streamlining how businesses and government interact by bundling services and making them accessible under a single online tool.
