Enjoy the music, chatter and sample our local foods. There is a wide variety of accommodations available from apartments, home ownership or rental and hotels with long term accommodations while you find your new home. For many years Antigonish has entered and done well in the “Communities in Bloom” nationwide competition. Flower baskets and murals are found through the downtown area. Visit the Antigonish Heritage Museum and explore the history of the area. A walk around Antigonish and StFX shows a variety of buildings and homes from the 1800s to the present. The award winning People’s Place Library is a real community hub and centre of activities. Galleries and art studios are open for viewing or joining in if you enjoy making art. Many of the venues have music and entertainment during the week and special events.
